Short Biography
I, Jane E. Clark was born in Williamsport, PA on July 27th, 1960 to George and Anne Lawther. I have two brothers (Mark and Jim) and a sister (Lynne).
As a child I loved to dance, sing, act, write, and draw. When I was a teenager, my grandmother, Helen Lewis (an artist) told me I could not become a master at everything... that I would need to choose between these talents, to develop one. It was like choosing between my own children! I didn't feel I could let go of any.
Years later, I realize it wasn't necessary to give up any gifts God had given, and Grandmother probably wasn't suggesting that. I tended to be dramatic in my reactions, in those days. But I did need to focus on an area, or I would end up a "Jack of all trades, master of none".
I have chosen to focus on writing and art... and let the other gifts have a back seat. Yet, over the years more have been added, by necessity. These include, storytelling , teaching, singing, piano, sewing, baking, and organization.
My teen years were filled with turmoil (for myself and my parents) as alternately searched for God and ran away from Him, too. The Scripture says in James 1:6-8 that, "a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways." That was true of me. But God was patient and persistant, working to break through the dense fog of lies in my brain... to reveal to me, the Truth. After years of believing lies about myself and about God, the truth has become vitally important to me.
My lyrics, stories, and poetry reflect The Truth (that is in Jesus) and truths I have learned along the way. I am thankful for the opportunities He has given me to share this with others. He has also blessed me with a wonderful husband and children, good friends and stimulating conversations that make the days sparkle.
Now, at 44 years old, I know what I want to do with my life, and am not afraid to do it. My husband (Robert) and I have been homeschooling our four children for twelve years. Our children are Daniel , Becky , James and Sharon. Life just keeps getting better every year. We also have two dogs, two cats and fish! (The family picture was taken in 2004)

May God give you and your children direction, as you seek to understand His gifts for you. The most important gift you will ever receive, is knowing Jesus Christ, and the assurance of eternal life with Him. To learn more about this gift, see "Scriptural Truth" and read the Bible (beginning with the book of John in the New Testament).
